Professor in Logistics, currently working at the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies (BERG) Technical University of Košice.

His theoretical knowledge and extensive scientific and research activities are focused on computer simulation, transport and handling devices as well as on implementation of exponential technologies in the field of logistics and Industry 4.0. Within own pedagogical practice he teaches at the domestic or foreign universities and guarantees the study program Transport Logistics in the 1st level of the university study at the Technical University of Košice.

At present he is a member of the special commission for PhD.-study at the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava, TU Košice and Tomas Bata University (UTB) in Zlín, whereby he is also involved into the process of management and training of the PhD.-students. Important is also his membership in the editorial boards of the scientific journals “Promet – Traffic & Transportation”, “Sustainability - Open Access Journal” and “Advances in Science and Technology Research Journal” (ASTRJ). All these journals are registered in the databases Scopus, Web of Science or Current Contents. During many years of his professional activities at the Faculty BERG he became author of more than 360 scientific publications, of which 56 are registered in the database CC.

There are more than 900 references registered in the databases Scopus and Web of Science concerning his publications. It is necessary to emphasize a fact that prof. Fedorko has been principal investigator and co-researcher of several scientific projects on the domestic and international academic level. He is reviewer of the professional and scientific articles published in the home or foreign journals registered in WoS and Scopus databases, an evaluator of the domestic and international scientific projects as well as co-author of several patents and utility models.
